Join the Kiwanis Clubs of Villa Park & Lombard for our annual (free) summer concerts. Kiwanis Wednesday concerts begin at 6:30 P.M. at the Ruggard Gazebo on the Prairie Path off of Ardmore Avenue between Pard and Central. Bring your family and chairs. Food and refreshments at nominal cost will be available at the Kiwanis Food tent starting 6:00 PM.
July 10 – St. John’s Lombard Praise Team: This crowd favorite returns to perform a variety of music including some of their much-loved popular hits.
July 17 – Rick Lindy and the Wild Ones: This Rockabilly group performs jukebox hits of the legends of rock and roll from the 50s and 60s including music of Elvis, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, and many more.
July 24 – Full Volume Classic Rock: Full Volume is a high-energy rock band that brings you the songs you love from the ’70s, the ’80s, and ’90s.
July 31 – Lake Effect: My personal favorite, This 8-piece band has something for everyone featuring a great horn section, guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums. The band covers great music from Classic Rock, Swing and Rhythm and Blues.
August 16-17: Kiwanis District Convention in Peoria, Illinois
September 27-28: Annual Peanut Days! Business sponsors needed!
October 1st: Annual Golf Outing at Sugar Creek Golf Course, Villa Park, IL 60181. Mark your calendars now. Food, raffles and a great time!
November 15: Delicious – yummy – wonderful Spaghetti Supper at Willowbrook High School in conjunction with the Willowbrook Fall Musical Production. More information will be provided as it develops.
